David Aman
is a Senior Project Director. He devotes the majority of his time managing the computing needs for the Spine Patient Outcomes Research Trial (SPORT) project. He started on the project in the fall of 1999 as a senior programmer and assumed the directorship a few months later. He also is in charge of a new initiative to service the informatics needs of genomics research.
Prior to joining the BioInformatics department, Dave was a senior programmer/analyst for the Investment Office at Dartmouth. Dartmouth is also Dave's alma mater. He graduated in 1989 with a BA in Mathematics & Social Sciences. After several years in Boston working as a computer professional, he was pleased to get the opportunity to return to the Upper Valley.
Dave lives in Hanover, NH with his wife Pam and daughters Katie and Christine. He enjoys running, hiking, and cross country skiing.
