Susan Gallagher joined the BioInformatics team January 2001 and works as a programmer for the Spine Patient Outcomes Research Trial (SPORT) project. Susan received her BS degree in Medical Technology from West Virginia University, and spent many years as a Medical Technologist in the clinical Microbiology laboratory at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
Despite her love for Microbiology, the lure of computers proved strong and in 1998 Susan began study towards a BS degree in Computer Science at Franklin Pierce College. She continues her studies while working for BioInformatics.
Susan lives in Hanover, NH with her husband and three children. Outside of work and class, she enjoys reading and weaving.
